Single-test strip systems

Single-test strip clinical chemistry systems which measures up to 17 parameters from whole blood, plasma or serum (e.g. Reflotron Plus 17 from Roche).

Refractometers

Refractometers that use, the so called refractive index method to measure the specific gravity of urine. The specific gravity of urine varies according to concentration. (e.g. Atago Pal-10s)

DT-Prime PCR

Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is one of the most up-to-date and precise diagnostic methods allowing to detect even single copies of microorganism in biological material. This technique is used in molecular biology to amplify a single copy or a few copies of a segment of DNA across several orders of magnitude, generating thousands to millions of copies of a particular DNA sequence. PCR has a number of advantages. It is fairly simple to understand and to use, and produces results rapidly. The technique is highly sensitive with the potential to produce millions to billions of copies of a specific product for sequencing, cloning, and analysis. PCR is a very powerful and practical research tool. The sequencing of unknown etiologies of many diseases are being figured out by the PCR. The technique can help identify the sequence of previously unknown viruses related to those already known and thus give us a better understanding of the disease itself.

The usage of containers (Standard 40-foot HIGH-CUBE Container) is essential due to their robust and secure setup, flexibility in terms of design and last but not least the short operation and transport time, as it can be deployed in emergency areas very fast. It not only protects the local personnel, equipments and instruments from the various environmental threats, but it also fulfills the relevant requirements of high tech healthcare facilities. While respecting the logistic requirements in terms of its physical sizes, the 40-foot high cube, standard container size allows fast and safe transport on the road, water and air. Thanks to these attributes, it can be operational eminently.
